Around and Around goes “The Suite Vollard”
Imagine waking up to a different view from your window every day. This was made possible by architect Bruno de Franco with his rotating building, “The Suite Vollard” in Curitiba, Brazil. Perhaps one of the most unique and futuristic buildings of all times, this spinning building creates an extraordinary effect as on its exterior. It is the building from the future. Abstract: Bruno de Franco’s “Suite Vollard” got its name from Pablo Picasso’s collection of etchings. The spinning building stands in the Ecoville District in Curitiba, Brazil. Out of the 15 floors, 11 serve as residences. The floors rotate in opposite directions and each floor has different colored glass on the windows. From the outside, it creates an artistic and dazzling effect that will catch you attention. These luxurious apartments have a great space of up to 2885 sq. ft and a controlled speed of rotation. “The Suite Vollard” is also eco-friendly; its rotation device has surprisingly low energy consumption.
